Items available for checkout from the library

  • Chromebooks (Small laptop type equipment used to access the internet; Microsoft programs are not available on these machines.)
  • Hotspots (Portable wireless internet connection for up to 10 devices.)

Items available for use in the library

  • 15 computers equipped with Windows 10 operating system. MS Office 2013 applications are available on these machines. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher.) Access the internet via Chrome, Edge, or Firefox browsers. Computer use is limited to one hour per person, per day.A computer in the library
  •  2 additional computers for tasks such as job searching, creating a resume, or genealogy research. (Use of these computers is at the discretion of the reference librarian on duty.)
  • Five computer workstations in Children's Room offer a variety of children's and filtered Internet access. An AWE Early Literacy Station™­ is available for interactive learning activities. 
  • Flatbed scanner for documents or pictures.
  • JAWS® screen reader equipped computer
  • One on one computer assistance twice a week. Call the reference desk 575-439-4148 for availability and schedule. 
  • Print jobs can be sent from the library computers or via Mobile Print. Cost for printing is $.15 per black and white page; $.50 per color page.
  • Purple Communications® Video Relay Service for the deaf and hard of hearing.
