The mission of Keep Alamogordo Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Incorporated, is to serve the citizens of Alamogordo, by developing and implementing effective public education and community improvement programs.

These programs enhance the quality of life in the community by instilling pride, positive attitudes, and behavior changes regarding:

About Keep Alamogordo Beautiful
Keep Alamogordo Beautiful was founded in 1975 by concerned citizens tired of seeing litter and trash in their community. On February 24, 1998, Keep Alamogordo Beautiful was certified by Keep America Beautiful as an official affiliate.
Since its founding, KAB has worked to educate the community about the importance of litter prevention and recycling. KAB has also organized numerous cleanups and beautification projects throughout the city.
In addition to its work on litter prevention and recycling, KAB also promotes sustainable community practices. KAB offers educational programs on water conservation, energy efficiency, and composting. KAB also partners with businesses and organizations to promote sustainable practices.
KAB is a valuable resource for the Alamogordo community. KAB's work helps to make Alamogordo a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful place to live.
